I cut back on my effexor XR 10 days ago. I am assuming the yucky symptoms I have had since are related. How many days is typical? (Just need a number - thanks!)

So difficult to answer, AKC. A month after weaning slowly off Effexor I still had significant side-effects. It is about 7 weeks now and they are all but gone...still, they do appear now and again. Last night I had leg twitches which i thought i was through with 2 weeks ago. It may only be a matter of a week or two for you as it affects each person differently.

It took about 2 months for me, but I quit cold turkey. But I was only on it 5 weeks. The first 3 weeks were the worst... then a little better day by day..... but.... it does end!!!!!!
