Rameron? How about more pepp like Ritalin?

Would something more peppy work like Ritalin?
Or has anyone tried mixing effexor with a dopamin uptake-inhibitor?
What would that do for my sex drive?

"Dopamine agonists
Bartlick and associates [60] observed good results with low-dose dextroamphetamine (5 mg) (1 patient) and methylphenidate (5-25 mg) (4 patients) administered approximately 1 hour before intercourse to patients with SSRI-induced inhibited orgasm or ejaculation. These authors noted the possibility of a therapeutic window, in which low dosages might enhance and higher doses inhibit orgasmic ability. Amantadine has similarly been found to ameliorate SSRI-related sexual dysfunction in male and female patients. [120,214,220] In addition to lowering the orgasmic threshold and increasing libido and arousal, augmentation with psychostimulants such as methylphenidate has been known to improve SSRI antidepressant efficacy..."

Ginkgo biloba extract †
- 180-240 mg/d, tid, divided doses
- Potential increased clotting time, possible flatulence

Bethanechol †
- 10-50 mg prn 1 hour before sex
- Used for anticholinergic side effects (TCAs, paroxetine); produces cholinergic side effects
- Arousal

Neostigmine †
- 200 mg/d, tid divided doses
- Used for anticholinergic side effects (TCAs, paroxetine); produces cholinergic side effects
- Arousal

Estrogen creams or lubricants
- As needed
- For vaginal dryness, atrophy of vaginal tissue
- Arousal

Amantadine
- 100 mg bid
- Caution in patients predisposed to psychosis
- Orgasm

Cyproheptadine
- 4-12 mg qhs
- MAOIs, TCAs, SSRIs, venlafaxine; watch for reemergence of depressive symptoms; sedating

Buspirone †
- 30-60 mg/d, bid divided doses
