I'm on day three of this journey. I'm down to 75mg EffexorXR in the morning and I'm up to 100mg WellbutrinSR in the evening. Let me tell you all about my night and morning.
Last night I had a burst of energy. I'm organizing a retreat for one of my recovery groups and I needed to finish the spreadsheet for the funding. I stayed up too late. I used my relaxation tape from hypnotherapy to calm down so I could sleep.
Once I got to sleep I had a strange nightmare. I was squashing a scorpion. It turned into a rat with very large teeth. It tried to bite me. I rolled away from it fast to get away from it. I woke up on the floor of my bedroom slamming into the wall!!! That hurt!
I have not rolled out of bed due to nightmares since I was a little guy. When I was a child I was on the top bunk of a bunk bed set. That REALLY hurt. And my mother said I had no problems as a child. What a Queen of Denial.....Anyway... Why did they put me on the top bunk when I was prone to roll out of bed?
Anyway this was a weird flashback to childhood. Could this be withdrawal from Effexor? Could this be the Wellbutrin? Could it be a combo? Who knows? At least I'm able to go to work today.
Oh yeah... My appetite is gone. I do have my sex drive back though. However...one of the symptoms of my depression was no appetite. I know that this is one of the side effects of the Wellbutrin. I don't mind it for now because I gained a whole bunch of weight on Effexor.. I craved pizza like crazy!!!

I could never take Wellbutrin in the evening. It is too activating. Effexor does affect dreams (at least it did mine). I took Wellbutrin in the am and Serzone in the pm. Good luck.

Actually,
I'm taking my Wellburtin about noon. It feels like evening to me since I am up at 5:45am to get to work by 7am. ;-)
I have a little time distortion.. This trip is so weird. I'm not freaking out yet.
