the case for Neurontin

Posted by SalArmy4me on May 25, 2001, at 23:40:27

I took upwards of 6000 mg of gabapentin, and still had no side-effects. It got rid of my depression and anxiety before I stopped using it...

Gabapentin is a very viable option for you, and here's why:

--It has anti-anxiety and antidepressant actions
--It has no anticholinergic side-effects
--Few sexual side-effects
--It now comes in 600 and 800 mg tablets, reducing the number of pills one takes per day
--It has gained the respect of psychiatrists world-wide in less than a decade.
--Gabapentin has few negative drug interactions; it can even be taken with MAOIs and moclobemide

Here are the studies that prove Neurontin's efficacy:
1: Jefferson JW.

Why did you discontinue it?
