I've recently started taking SAM-e, and have found that it has some antidepressant benefits for me. Paying for it, however, is like having another car insurance payment. Does anyone know of where you could get SAM-e for the lowest price? I would want to get the NatureMade brand, because it seems to be trusted in terms of it really having SAM-e in it. Other brands may have practically none. Thanks.

Buy it at a wholesaler like Costco.

The cheapest source of SAM-E I think is probably at samedirect.com. Unfortunately they do not sell the naturemade brand. They sell the nutralife form which is the tried and tested form used in Europe for 20 years. I was under the impression that this was the best form in terms of its reliability and used in clinical trials. Nutralife contains this toyslate formulation. I think its $35 for 60 tabs. v-cheap.

I tried all the different brands of SAMe. Only Nature Made's helped. In addition to Sams Club, Costco is currently selling Nature Made's SAMe for $35 for 80 tablets. This is as cheap as I've seen it. Stock up now (I did).

Tom - I have been taking Nature's Rx (Rx Ultra) SAM-e for about 2 and a half years with very good results. I also take Celexa. Have you ever tried Nature's Rx? It's not sold in stores. Only mail order from the internet. Also how much do you take? Do you take any other antidepressent with it?
