I think that might be a good sign.

Yes, I had that, too. I wasn't sure if it was lamictal or the geodon, but I do not find it sleep friendly yet...but it may not be a permanent side effect...last night I slept fine. On 20 in the a.m. and 20 in the p.m. Why is that good SLS?

Call it a fool's intuition.

I really can't give you any better reason than that. Sorry.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you guys.

Avoet,

I can sleep just fine on Geodon. Sometimes, though, if I'm just not interested in sleeping and it's getting late, I take 3mg of Melatonin and I sleep without any problem. Melatonin is available in most drug stores and all health food stores. It's a hormone naturally released in your body during deep REM sleep.

I take Geodon, 20mg. twice a day. I was taking it morning and bedtime but I was up all night bouncing around. This drug metabalizes pretty quickly and I'd get a "black hole" about five o'clock ( weird paranoid, not sleepy) and then rally after the bedtime dose and be up too late. My sleep cycles slide around much too easily anyway, so Dr. Shrink said to try morning and four o'clock. This works really well when I remember to do it. My MD says all his manic depressives are getting the same reaction. The drug is so new we have to figure out how to use it.

PS My doc is not named Shrink. It's a generic alias, for those of you who've never heard this term.
