I'm confused. I just read an article about the efficacy of Reboxetine, but I thought it wasn't available in the U.S. yet. Please advise!

Hi PattyG,

Reboxetine (Vestra, Edronax), the first selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) or classified as "NARI" (noradrenergic reuptake inhibitor) by European psychiatrists, will soon be available for prescription in the U.S. as a treatment for depression. Reboxetine is approved for use as an antidepressant in much of Western Europe and in parts of South America.
