Just wondering whether you are checking in here at Babble, and how you are doing? If you can, drop us a quick post and let us know how you are...thanks.

Best wishes,
Deb.

Deb, Abby, Noa, Quilter, Kath---

Thanks so much for the kind thoughts; I *really* appreciate them! I've been away from Babble for awhile--was scanning what was posted during my absence and just came across this thread. It's sort of hard for me to take this in; it feels great, and I haven't had any great feelings in a very long time. I had no idea that my posts were anything more than pedantic annoyances.

I've been hibernating and feeling particularly tentative lately. Still exploring med cocktail permutations and combinations; it takes soooo long for so little progress--if I had the energy, I'd be exhausted. I've discovered that, with a big enough freezer, I can avoid leaving the house for weeks at a time! There's a guy in my town who's running an experiment to see if he can live a year without leaving his house, depending on the Internet for all his needs (calls himself "dot.com guy" and posts his progress on his self-named website). Now, if I just had thought of that first, my dysfunctional behavior could be celebrated and profitable, too.

Thanks again to you all for the well wishes---medlib

medlib, glad you're out of hibernation! Wish I had one of those big freezers too so I'd never have to leave the house. My employer won't let me telecommute, so it's back to work tomorrow. Enjoyed your comment, "if I had the energy, I'd be exhausted" since it takes me all day Saturday and half of Sunday to "psych myself up" and rest up enough to do simple chores.

Dear medlib,

It is so good to see your name on the board :-) I wish things were going better for you, but I am very pleased that you're still out there, still working and looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. I would also like to reiterate what Cindy said about "If I had the energy, I'd be exhausted", a very astute observation that really sinks the message in. We're all here for you and we all really missed your voice. It is wonderful to *hear* from you!

Sending my best wishes, thoughts, and vibes :-)

Hi Medlib - Pedantic Annoyance?? NOPE!! Not you. I also was struck with your "if I had the energy, I'd be exhausted" comment.

Keep in touch; you're missed when you're not here.

Kath

Medlib, I have never found you annoying or pedantic. You always seem to be a voice of reason, a provider of solid information, and a giver of support.

Glad to see you again.

I'm glad to see you're back, too. Voices like yours are so needed to balance some of the provacative and/or fearful posts.
I often share your feeling of seeming stiff and pedantic when I post. I really know the feeling of complete and utter exhaustion much too well. I have a tremendous amount of respect to all of my fellow sufferers who manage to stay employed.
Quilter
