I was doing so well last week, the new med was working but for 2 days now I have felt like crap. I can't stop crying and everything upsets me. I hate this. How can a med poop out in 12 days. Frustrated and annoyed and a little defeated I guess. Sorry, just me whining again.

Tina,
Sorry to hear that things aren't going well, you seemed like things were starting to look up. Have you talked to your doc about this? Could it possibly be a natural progression of the med? Maybe it's still stabilizing in your system. Just guesses at best. Send me an e-mail and lets talk, "if you are so inclined"
Love ya,

Tina,
Same thing happened to me several weeks ago with the crying, etc., but it just turned out to be the world's worst case of PMS. I'm 39 and you'd think I'd have this figured out by now wouldn't you? Sometimes, though, it still catches me by surprise and I literally feel like I am losing any mental stability I may have, altogether. This may or may not be the case with you, Tina, but I thought it may be a possibility. Hang on, girl!! I hope it's not the new med.

> You can tell if Manerix has pooped out if it doesn't work at 900 mg. I've augmented it successfully for 8 months with Dexedrine, then Revia.

Hi tina,
sorry to hear it pooped-out. This would also be a typical reaction to an AD for someone with rapid cycling bipolar II or III. If you continue to try various ADs and continue to react like this, please reconsider bipolar. My pdoc told me, on average, it takes a patient 8-10 years and 3 pdocs to get a diagnosis of bipolar. It can look like so many different things in its milder forms.
I take estrogen pills for PMS, and they work. I hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself tina, Janice.

After a week and a 1/2, manerixs' effects diminished noticebly. I was on 600mg. After two more weeks of feeling like garbage, I went off of manerix.
