Kazoo---how are you doing?

Posted by Abby on May 27, 2000, at 19:12:06

Kazoo,

How are you managing your health problems? As I recall you had a liver compromised by Hepatitis C, diabetes and depression. Your doctors were too afraid to treat you, because they were afraid of hurting something else.

No interferon, because that can induce depression etc.

Did you get a consult with other doctors or have you managed to make headway with the doctors at UConn?

Abby

Thank you, my dear, for your inquiry. It's the first one I've received in months.
I've found more compassion in this group then with the rest of these worthless,
so-called professionals I have to deal with. I am convinced that this genre
of piss-poor professional gravitate toward Connecticut, I could be wrong.

In a nutshell, I've done NOTHING about ANYTHING.
I'm just sitting here, 'Waiting for God'. Or at least some divine sign, of some sort.

I was hoping that the third secret from Our Lady of Fatima would have had some
reference to my sick liver, but, Alas, it did not, oh well. Anyone want several cans
of Fava beans?

This Thursday I go back to UCONN Medical in Farmington to determine if I need
my liver biopsied, a procedure I'm not looking forward to.

As far as the mental thing goes, I've just been too overwhelmed to approach
any other doctor. I'm still burned by what those son's of bitches did to me
at the previous Clinic, compounding anger with free flights of uncontrollable
and hysterical laughter. Did someone mention "borderline personality"?

Oh, how I yearn to be back in Hollywood, CA.

Again, thanks.

The so-called professionals here in L.A. have been for the most part devious, incompetent boobs as well. Thanks for replying to my post!

This is long overdue, but I want to tell you how much I appreciate your posts! I'm sorry that you are feeling so badly, and though it won't help you feel any better, I want to tell you that your posts always give me a lift. I love your sense of humour and think that your ability to see the humour through the problems is a real gift, a gift you generously share with us. I haven't written this very well, so I hope you get my drift. You know, I don't read every thread, sometimes I only have time to skim thru the board. But, when I see your 'name', I always have to stop and read, no matter what the thread is! Wishing you the best! CarolAnn
