Harry, I think that by the time Mozart was my age, he had been dead for 6 years!!
Thanks to Tom Lehrman for that one. The old folks among us will understand.
Actually, I can't remember exactly what age Mozart died at; I was guessing 34, and I turn the big 40 this year.

I'm 41. I look better than I did in my thirties, thanks to a major weight loss. I do feel wiser. I'm not sure if my lower anxiety is all meds, or also partly attributable to aging.
When I turn 80 I plan to start smoking again, do some really fun drugs, fart whenever I need to, swear like a truckdriver, and say whatever I damn well please!!! Who cares if any of it is addicting , deadly or offensive! Oh, yeah, I'm gonna eat whatever I want, too! Now I have things to live for...Renee N

Now that you know everyone's ages, find out where they live and see if theres any coalation between depression, ages and geographical locations.Could you write a Nobel Prize winning paper? I think SO.....

g'day all,
this is a great thread harry...i have often wondered about fellow babblers, perhaps not age so much but where everyone is from, if they have kids, what books they like to read, favourite old movies and so on. Kind of stuff you find out about people as they become your friends.

46 years old here. But is that too old to still be on the cheerleading squad? I think I never really got out of adolescence. So can I join the 18 to 20 year old group even if I'm chronologically over the hill?

I'm 43, but thanks to good genes (and possibly never having married or had children), most people guess about mid-30s. I usually will admit to only 39, but since you guys don't know me, I've nothing to lose by being honest..hehehe

I'm 42. But as Satchel Paige (the great baseball player/philosopher) once said, "How old would you think you were if you didn't know how old you really were?" I guess on good days I feel 30 - bad days 55 - whatever that might feel like.Alan

I was careful not to ask anything personal as part of the registration process, but it doesn't look like there's that much reluctance to share ages, so I think I'll add year of birth.
I might add email address, too, since that would simplify posting since the site could then fill it in for you automatically.
Both of these would be optional. If you would rather type in your email address each time, or would just leave it blank anyway, that's fine.
