Hello,

I just wanted to say that i don't think i'd still be alive if it weren't for this site and all of the thoughtful people who post here consistently. I haven't posted much but I've been reading regularly for the last year. i've reached bottom so many times and the suffocating darkness of my depression has pushed me to seriously consider ending my life several times. reading your posts and knowing that so many of you have taken a proactive role in attempting to conquer this nightmarish disease has kept a small light on in my dark life.

I'm so glad you've gotten hope from this site; I feel the same. The quality of information is staggering, it's really helped me reach important decisions and like you, helped me to be more proactive. Take care.

Sophie, I have had the same experience with this web site. There are so many compassionate, knowledgeable people who post here. Whenever I am suffering through something difficult circumstance, I always seem to discover support, insight and information here, whether I have posted or not. This web site makes me feel less alone in the world.
