Thanks for all your feedback everyone. I stopped taking
all meds the day I found out I was pregnant. Today I went to
see my Doctor and although he said many women take
anti-d during preg, I don't feel comfortable continuing any
of my drug therapies. ..... strangely enough , no side effects
and I am feeling out of this world happy about my healthy baby.!!!

Hooray!!!
BTW, I read in that book, when words are not enough, that for some women, depressive symptoms go away while they are pregnant. Maybe this describes you!
Have you heard of Lauren Slater? She is a psychologist who wrote a couple of books. One is about her experience working with severely mentally ill adults, and it contains a bit of autobiographical material about her own hospitalization when she was younger. I think she has a second book that tells more of her own battles with depression. I saw her on Tom Snyder a couple of years ago and she said she was pregnant, and on prozac.

Lauren Slater recently wrote an article for the NYTimes Sunday Magazine about that pregnancy on Prozac. I'm afraid I didn't keep a copy, but you might be able to find a copy on their web site.Louisa
