why am i the only one trying neurontin 3600mg?

this seems really wiered, because i don't want to be the guinea pig, i.e., the first to try something. oh well, maybe i'll be able to share something worthwhile. I'm taking 900 mg/day of neurontin, and am working my way up to 3600 mg/day. No noticeable effects, yet, although I have noticed an increase in sexual desire. Maybe it's just college hormones (???). Anyway, i don't mind this effect at all.

I'll be up to 3600 mg/day in two weeks. Wish someone could share their experiences with me as to how neurontin cured your social phobia. I'm deathly afraid to get up in front of class and make a presentation. I feel cold, i shiver, shake, blush, and i almost freeze up. It seems to be getting worse.

Please, if the higher dose has worked for someone, I would love to hear of your experience.

Sam, I just finished a trial of neurontin, 3600 mg/day. Was taking it for chronic pain, geniculate neuralgia. Was not able to tolerate the cost 250-300 dollars per month. With the AD's it was to much of a financial burden. To answer your question, off lable use of neurontin has become quite popular, due partly in fact to its low side effect profile. If your insurance permits, by all means, go for it!! Blessings,
