Anyone find this method useful for the AD's with shorter
half lives?

Not me. I found sexual desire didn't return for at least two weeks after being completely off Zoloft, Paxil, or Celexa. Strangley, I'm not having that problem with Prozac. ???

A couple of years back, when I was washing out from Paxil before starting effexor, I found all I had to do was think about something sexy and I would have an instant orgasm! It was great while it lasted, but the plunge in mood that eventually arrived overshadowed it.

It worked for me on Celexa. I'd stop on thurs. and
resume on Monday. Wasn't a completely perfect
solution b/c I'd get kinda dizzy over the weekend
from withdrawal. Unfortunatley, Celexa didn't
really agree with me very well.

I'm having good luck with cyproheptidine, but I haven't tried drug holidays. My experiences lately have been so disruptive to my life, that I'm just not willing to try that!

On the other hand, I'd recommend the cyproheptidine if you haven't tried it. The down side is that it's an anti-histimine, and will put you to sleep, but it's also making the earth move for me again.

(BTW, I'm on Effexor XR and Prozac, and my libido is through the roof, but I don't have a partner, so this is all based on appliances...)
