Hi, everybody,
Sorry, but I should have posted this before. I got tied up with other things. :-)
The University of Chicago Department of Psychiatry Grand Rounds lecture series continues on the Internet:
Next, today at 11 am Chicago time (I think now that we're on Daylight Savings Time we're 5 hours earlier than GMT), will be "Depressed Children Grown Up", by Myrna M. Weissman, PhD, Chief of Clinical and Geriatric Epidemiology, Columbia College and Physicians and Surgeons, New York, NY.
If you have an Internet connection and a Macintosh (or another computer with a sound card and a speaker), you should be able to listen in. Other options are video and "real time" text-based discussion during the presentation with other online participants (including myself).
These presentations are still only available live for now (we're not able to record yet, sorry, but we're working on it). More information, including how to get the *free* RealPlayer software that you'd need to listen in (no special software is needed to receive video or to discuss), is at:
