Racer, how are u doing? keep us posted

Posted by a friend on December 25, 1998, at 22:37:55

want to know how you're doing. Keep posting for us. Maybe people can help, relate, or just talk to you.
Do you like to fish? To eat fish? Conversation, about something, anything. Have you tried aInositol (for depression) it is considered a B vitamin, and there have been studies that have found it effective!! It is a substance that is found in every cell of the body, also component of human breast milk. Look it up at http://serenitol.com, at least I think that's the address, if not do a search for the name serenitol on yahoo etc. This site from the self help institute sells a nutritional supplement under name Serenitol, it has (I believe): inositol, vitamin B-6 and B-12 and folate. Read the literature on this site, I think you'll find it impressive!!!

Thank you for expressing your concern about my pain. Maybe it's the depression and the cognitive difficulties it comes with, but it does seem as though you're using it to get the word out about a commercial opportunity for someone. If that's true, it enrages me and makes me feel preyed upon. If not, I apologize.

>Racer you gave some good advice to Erich. This friend is trying to show you an alternative to the meds you are complaining about in previous posts. If someone did not care they would not take the time to respond to you. Research all info given you, that's what is great about the internet.

Maybe I was unclear

I've read the post again, and I've read mine again. I guess I didn't make it clear:

If this was a legitimate effort to help, I thank you. It's nice to be offered alternatives.

It read to me like an attempt to sell me something. Maybe that is a cognitive issue caused by the depression, maybe I'm adding paranoia to my bag of tricks. Maybe it's the truth. I won't even hazard an opinion. If it was posted by someone with nothing more in mind than selling something, that person is picking off the vulnerable, and I am offended, rightly so.

Again, so that we're all clear:

It doesn't matter what the truth is here. If the suggestion was made by someone who genuinely wished to help, and sincerely believed that it would be helpful, you have my sincere, heartfelt thanks.

If the suggestions were made as an effort to increase profits by holding out a magic fix-all to someone in a rotten situation, then -- well, I don't use that sort of language.

I'm sorry if I can't give you what you want here. But I thank you for your efforts to get the word out for someone else who might find it more useful than I.

If I sound a little sensitive here, part of the problem is your "handle". I don't know you, so you are not my friend. It seems a little anonymous, and that makes me suspicious.

Again, if this is delusional thinking based on my depression, sorry.
