Effexor withdrawals

Posted by Emery on February 6, 2006, at 20:52:45

I am being titrated down off Effexor 37.5 mg. The withdrawals are terrible. The lightening bolts through out my head and body are awful. I was sleeping too much that is the reason to get off, now my sleep patterns are all messed up. I really thought I was dying until I read some of the feedback of others that have had these experiences. My question is how long does these withdrawal symptoms last? I need to get back to work! I can (hopefully) cope with this if I know what to expect. I hate surprises! Some of the information does not go into detail...especially about the awful lightening bolts.

i think from reading a million and 5 posts... there are no difi.niative answers.. only guesses... for me the real bad stuff ended about day 8. now the rest still has not gone away... but it is dealable. i have worked straight thru... some of the hardest of all time'.

turn down the lights and watch a funny movie... you will be happy
