As a undergrad, it would be a huge deal for me to be asked to help, get my name published along with my prof. in a major journal. It sounds exciting but why have they choosen me? I work hard and am a good student and like to have fun, but I don't have any extra ordinary talent in the field.

Maybe they see those things about you (work hard, good student) and think you'd be good at it. Congrats!
