I dont like these esoteric books. (Anymore).
I am anti spiritual now. Alot of esoteric nonsense is in circulation.

The fact that a book is touched with spirituality is a clue its claims are false.

I consider dog or cat or any animal book to be self help. Particularly one about rescuing a homeless animal. I just read "Rescuing Sprite" Loved it.
Now reading "The Second-Chance Dog"
These books get you out of your own head and issues for awhile and that helps some. : )

Don't read them. The OP didn't ask for non-spiritual self-help books.
The Road Less Traveled has much more to it than spirituality with esoteric spiritual ideals.

I just got a book out of the library called Spirit Junkie, by Gabrielle Bernstein. I have just started reading it..it seems promising.
