Haven't peeked in for ages. I'm always afraid the board will just be gone. But it's not, so "Hi!"

It's strange to see Dr Bob's new threads. "Do you feel joined by me?"
I am well enough. I sleep a lot. More than I thought it was possible to sleep. I am much like a house cat.

Hi Tabitha?
Has it been that long? It doesn't seem like it. Maybe because the board archives so slowly these days. :)
How are you doing?

Doing OK. A couple more months til I'm done with primary cancer treatment, then it's just years of estrogen-sucking pills. I don't look like myself due to the weird post-chemo hair. I hope it goes back to normal in a few months. I see my new pdoc about once a month. I'm still off work and feel like a housecat some days.
How are you? Your comments in the "join me" thread cracked me up.

:)
Dr. Bob brings a certain something to Babble, doesn't he? It's just not the same without him.
Will it be hard to go back to work? I think if I ever get off this hamster wheel, it would take more courage than I have to get back on again.
I hope things get back to normal in a few months as well. Are you missing your therapist at all? Or are the new supports in your life more than enough without her?

Not really missing our sessions at all. When I think of it I'm mostly still angry at how much $$$ I spent on it, and how much we argued. New supports? Well it's nice being married. I have less opportunity to live in my head and stew.

It sounds as if your marriage is a good one. :)
Is telecommuting an option? More and more it seems to be, and a good thing I think. Mightn't it be good for the environment?
This is the end of the thread.
