What adorable Paps! What was awkward about that one? :)

I admit that I make a point of never holding my pets while I'm naked....

I have wedding photos of me and three of my dogs. They're hung on the wall right here by my desk. They were taken at home, not the church. Silly church wouldn't let them serve as junior attendants. But I'm in full bridal rigalia, and the boys were wearing bow collar ties.

There is a website called "Awkward Family Portraits" and that comes from them. I couldn't sleep one night and I swear I found a portrait of a wedding ceremony that had to have involved at least two of my relatives. The entire wedding party was dressed in camo!!

I have always thought that it would involve risks that I am not willing to take. :-)

I read a quote one day that said "if heaven doesn't take dogs, I'm not going". You might say that about churches!

Had I re-married, I can see involving either Tippy or Fayeroe in the ceremony.

When my youngest daughter got married, the ceremony was on a deck overlooking the Rio Grande. I had left no stone unturned. The ceremony was scheduled to end right at sunset. The river was beautiful. The singers were wonderful, the wedding party was beautiful...everything had clicked. Then a light rain started falling and Tippy, not wanting to get his good fur wet, got up and walked up on the deck and laid down on Connie's dress train. The entire crowd broke up when Connie tried to step forward to hold Ken's hand!! She turned around and Tip just looked up and wagged his tail. She, Ken and the "ministeress" moved back to be in line with Tippy.

We need a photo forum!!
