Do you guys want to post some of our favorite quotes? I always think it's fun, and it let's you get to know people better and what's important to them. Here, I'll start with one:

"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift." - Albert Einstein

'Speak to me. Why do you never speak. Speak.
'What are you thinking of? What thinking? What?
'I never know what you are thinking. Think.'

Really interesting quotes, and Sis, I love T.S. Eliot!

Footfalls echo in the memory, Down the passage which we did not take, Towards the door we never opened Into the rose-garden. - T.S. Eliot

An election is coming. Universal peace is declared & the foxes have a sincere interest in prolonging the lives of the poultry. - T.S. Eliot

We should have been excused from lugging a body: the burden of the self was enough.

E.M. Cioran

Don't keep a negative attitude, such as "I will not succeed, I will not succeed." Instead, keep a positive attitude: "I WILL fail. I WILL fail."

The tears of the world are a constant quantity. For each one who begins to weep somewhere else another stops. The same is true of the laugh. Let us not then speak ill of our generation, it is not any unhappier than its predecessors. Let us not speak well of it either. Let us not speak of it at all. It is true the population has increased.

More Beckett......

If I have said anything to the contrary I was mistaken. If I say anything to the contrary again I shall be mistaken again. Unless I am mistaken now. Into the dossier with it in any case, in support of whatever thesis you fancy.

I'd like the chance to be the girl who used to be me.

A line from the song The Girl Who Used to be Me from my favourite movie, Shirley Valentine.

hehehe. Yep those are very profound. Thanks for sharing them.

Here's one more from me (all of mine are pretty heavy.)

"There is a lot of suffering in the world, but there is also a lot of overcoming of it" Helen Keller (I think)

The funny ones I like are usually by Lily Tomlin or Jane Wagner. I read this one recently,

"Infinity is just time on an ego trip."

I know how you feel.

I'm fond of these from William Burroughs

'Shutup awready, I wanna enjoy my medications'

and

'Though it be the only way I know to stem her word hoard and freeze her asset'
