I hate it when I can't find something.....

Posted by obsidian on August 2, 2009, at 21:36:45

and I keep picturing it in different places that I may have left it....only to be disappointed again and again.
it's just a book, but I'll have to pay the library for it if I don't find it

I have also lost my mind, good riddance....nothing but trouble.

My cat is batting my pill case around.

My life is a bit disorganized at the moment.

I hate that also & I have so many 'areas of disorder' in my house. Piles (some neat; some not so tidy) of stuff that I've stacked to sort out sometime.

I actually got 3 medium-sized boxes of stuff and 1 laundry basket of this & that sorted yesterday! That was an amazing accomplishment for me.

I hope you find the book.

luv, Kath

That's the spirit.

I once found an old plate of spaghetti bolognese in my daughter's room under a while pile of stuff. It was growing quite well. I can never find any books. It's not only books. I can't find my shoes.

I absolutely, cannot, hang on to both pair of any earrings. I have this pathetic collection of single earrings that I know I will never find the matches to, but I love them too much to get rid of. I'm also terrible with watches, sunglasses, and pretty much any jewelry. Oh, and pens - forget about it. I've already lost a half dozen in the 3 months I've been at my part time job. Where on earth do they go? I have no idea.

Recently I decided to take things in hand.

I went to this other room, rarely visited, and found this bag of single socks.

It was around 16 cubic feet of single socks which we had carefully saved.

I threw them out, my wife being away.

IF my husband were away I'd rent a real huge dumpster and just starting throwing half the house away. Boxes that haven't been opened in years. And huge Bags of beenie baby's, attic treasures, all the plushes ever made. Ty would have a fit. All Ty Bears and other animals. One we paid over $500 for not worth a dime today the orignal brown bear and a teal original teddy. Love PJ

I understand entirely. I don't like to leave the house either.

I always lose my umbrellas. I've lost $30 umbrellas. Almost every time I go out with an umbrella I lose it. I don't buy them anymore. I wear my GoreTex jacket now instead.

I'm not surprised. I saw a picture of a canal in Ottawa that freezes over in the winter and on which people skate. It had lovely buildings in the background. Looked excellent, nice and cold.

Yep, that is the Rideau Canal. I think it is the world's longest or largest skating rink.
