When I got home I just felt this intense need to write out everything that just happened. It was ironic to me how I was kind of afraid of these men, but in the end, we were all the same. I guess that's what I was trying to express.

Hi T...

Well, I wish I could sit with you and a glass of wine. :) Here is a song/video, that I hope isn't too "happy" for you. Listen closely..the words are..well..amazing. I hope you like it...it's my personal song of "Hope"...as I try, really damn fu*&ing hard (and know you do too) to kick at the darkness 'till it bleeds daylight.

That really was amazing! I love all the nature images, I'm a sucker for them. Thank you.

I didn't mean to cause worry with my post, it was just what I was feeling at that point in time. It was kind of dark, but also a feeling of connecting with everyone else out there. We all feel dark sometimes.

I don't know what happened to my punctuation! I wrote it on my computer first to catch misspellings, but ended up loosing some apostrophes and quotations. And I'm really not so much drunk as tipsy. So anybody who reads it, its meant as an artistic sort of thing.

If that was mean, I'm happy to be blocked for a year or longer. Please.

I just don't think drunks should go on a kind of parade, extolling substance abuse.

Hope I'm blocked for being honest. Please block me, forever.

forever yours,

apologies make it all better. that's Babbleland Bob logic.

how about not driving drunk again??

his funeral was huge. the whole school went. it flowed out onto the street. traffic stopped. drivers got out of their cars and cried too. the whole town stopped.

Verne has a right to respond to a post. He was triggered and has a right to say that.

If someone posts, drunk or not, people have a right to have feelings about that post. We all have to take care when we post. Posts will cause reactions. We have to take what comes. Lessons are learned through mistakes. TC hopefully learned a lesson today which might save her life.

And Verne's feelings and my feelings are as valid as TC's. And yes, she is a lovely person.

I don't want to beat her up. I want to help her.

The problem with deciding not to drive drunk is, you don't make good decisions when you're drunk. That being said, I wasn't drunk when I drove. I had consumed alcohol, but it wasn't a large amount and I felt fine to drive. I wrote a story based on things that had happened that night, but it was a story - the drunk part was an exaggeration. By the time I posted it I had consumed more alcohol and was feeling tipsy, but this was after the fact. This probably contributed to my posting something that was not appropriate here, not to mention writing being drunk into the story. I've apologized for posting this, that's all I can do.

TC - please be safe regarding the driving. I hear your explanation, but please be safe in future, okay? I don't drink, but from seeing my son, I really see the aspect of making less wise decisions about various things after having been drinking.

I hope you're feeling less stressed out. This is a very stressful time for you.

Any chance of getting free or cheap drugs from an online site?

luv & hugs, Kath

Ye Gads, far worse things have been done.
I didn't presume you were drunk when you drove, as for mentioning drinking, it's been done frequently and I've not heard the accusations of it triggering drinking before.

One would have to stop reading everything altogether in order to avoid it.
There's also a substance abuse board. If people are triggered by the mention of falling off the wagon (you weren't bragging about it!) isn't a substance abuse board rather self defeating?
AA for that instance?

How many people have excused their posts as "Sorry PWD" There was even a joke about having to take a breathalizer before posting.

People talk here about over spending, sex,
smoking, smoking pot any of those are things someone could theoretically have a problem with.

Don't know why you caught it..

You can certainly decide on your own if it was
a mistake or not, ; 0.But as far as babble goes, I've never seen anyone
shamed for talking about things before. Like you said you weren't condoning them.
