One reason I like to say it is because only a select few know what it means. ;-)
The other reason is, although I personally haven't smoked in a good while, I believe in everybody's right to. Its illegality has nothing to do with the plant itself, and everything to do with politics and keeping drug cartels rich.
...and I now step down off my soapbox.

My son would LOVE you!!! LOL
There's a local radio station that every day (well I haven't listened for a while, but it was their "thing") around 4:15 pm they'd have a song that was about the dried stuff, or mentioned it etc. & the announcer would say something like "If ya got some, puff some". Some of the songs were TOTALLY hilarious!!!!
hugs!
PS - I just (thinking it was still the 20th) went downstairs & said a big "Happy 4/20 ___" to my son. He laughed & said: Thanks Mom - it was yesterday ya know :-))
LOL
hugs, Kath

4/19 was my wife's birthday and coincidentally the start of the American Revolution. I am pretty sure my wife would have been born anyway---but I can't help but wonder if they had waited until 4/20---if would have been a single shot fired. Y'all know what I'm talking about!
