...but there was an extra second added to the last minute of last hour. The leap second was added at midnight Greenwich Mean Time, but to keep all the clocks around the world synchronized, that second was added everywhere at the same time. So, 7:00 p.m. EST came one second later than expected. Like I said, I hope you didn't blink and miss it.
