Intro

Posted by Viking Warrior on August 31, 2008, at 22:26:50

Hello Everybody. I'm here to introduce myself as Viking Warrior. Although I don't feel much as a Warrior. I chose Viking Warrior because of my Viking/Norwegian heritage. I hope to find helpful information. Things I worry about, my wife WaterSapphire,my daughter in Colorado,my pets, money, not knowing if I am going to have job since it is temporary. Not having a vehicle at the moment since it broke down. Not having the energy to ride my bike to work for the week. I just want to get back to normal with my wife where we had a nice mobile home, and I had a good job. I just want us to get finacially stable like any other person struggling to make ends meat, living paycheck to paycheck and actually have something to show for it. I'm going to make a promise to myself that I will be a history teacher.

Hi Viking Warrior & welcome

Dave here, hope you find what you are looking for, this site has been a great help to me,everyone are so kind, helpful, and concerning about each other. As philipa said we have a Watersapphire here, is she your wife ?.We seem to have a similar life,I live in a mobile, right now money problems don`t have the car problem, and unfortunately don`t have a wife or girlfriend due to fact that my girl friend hung herself 16 weeks ago.
All I can say is that right now with all the things that are going on in your life right now, is that you have your wife, and your daughter, treasure them both they the most precious thing in your life right now.
As for all the other things happening have hope, like I do, they WILL get better.
Think like I do be positive, and remember, no matter how bad your problems are, there people who`s problems are far worse.
(((((Viking Warrior +Water Sapphire))))
Dave

I meant to respond to this and completely forgot. Sometimes I think I responded and then later realize I only thought about it. But welcome to babble!

Don't be discouraged if you don't get a lot of responses right off the bat. We all have our individual trials and sometimes it causes us to miss new people. Some people get discouraged by that and stop trying, but it really has nothing to do with the poster, its just part of the dynamics of a chatroom. Don't be afraid to post to some existing posts, every one is welcome and it helps people get to know your name and start recognizing it. That usually helps.

I'm sorry about your working woes. I'm experiencing a few myself. Keep trying though. I've decided the key is never giving up. It amazes me that I can apply for so many jobs and get so few responses. But if you keep trying, and keep searching for different ways to go about it, you will eventually get something. What has been your current system for job hunting? I may be able to give you some suggestions. I'm (inadvertently) becoming a pro at it!

P.S. I like WaterSaphire. She shares my love of SciFi.
