99° yesterday and today. We just skipped over the upper 80's, lower 90's, and mid 90's and went straight to 99! Gotta love that TX weather!

I know!! I was just thinking that Mother Nature must be confused about what month it is. I guess it's to be expected, though; she's got to be really old by now.

We're still in jacket weather! 9 & 10C - not sure what that is in F & too lazy to get up & go & look at my C/F thermometer!!
I can't even imagine it being that warm, but I know we WILL get hot weather. It's just hard to actually believe right now. A few weeks ago, it was in the high 20'sF Will it ever come back??
Whine. hugs, Kath

It hit us today. A nice mild morning. Then WHAM.
I hate summer. I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it.
Of course I'm grateful it took this long. Usually by this time of year we're well into summer and dreading the month or two of h*ll before summer returns again.
We have different seasons here (and maybe you too?)
Fall (mid November to mid February broken briefly by... Winter, which lasts a few days in late December)
Spring (mid February to early April)
Summer (April to sometime in July)
H*ll (much of July and All of August)
Summer (September to mid November)
then fall again.
But this year we actually had a spring.
It seems to me that Fall used to come in early November. But that could be false overly rosy memories)

My place is too well insulated. It's still holding Winter's chill. The attic roasts and the ventilation fan turns on, meanwhile the house's humans suffer in fleece-lined slippers and hooded sweatshirts.
My tomato plants are still 6 inches high. (curses)

Here's a Celsius/Fahrenheit conversion:
Ice melts: 0.00C°/32.00F°
Surface temp on Earth: 15.00C°/59.00F°
Human body temp: 36.80C°/98.24F°So that means its (approx) 10C°/50F° for you and 37C°/99F° for me! What's the hottest it gets in Canada?
