we are building toward a full moon right?

Posted by Jai Narayan on May 27, 2007, at 21:43:51

I guess it's this Friday- June 1st.
My sister was born on May 31st at midnight...so what day was she really born? She's so Gemini that she straddles two days.

Jai's right, in fact, it's gonna be a blue moon (= 2nd full moon in the same month)

i've been running around in circles trying to figure things out..

i checked on the status of the moon, but couldn't find it anywhere (little did i know most calendars show the phases of the moon until it hit me this very instant).

i knew somethign was going on. we took some pretty fun, non-birthdya party pictures yesterday, after the 'adults' (no, i'm not an adult) left. duckie, moving townards a grill (no, it's not hot), mr kk trying to put my face in the pond i've been working so hard on, and me shoving his face in, with my heel.

i think those are the best pictures yet, although all you see of me are legs and arms (and some fantastic shoes!).

jai, my mother told me on friday that birds can't swim. i decided to argue with her (i've been argumentative lately, what can i say?). i came home to find a bird floating in my pond. i've said since i learned to speak that woman's the devil. i still don't disagree. i just wish that birds could swim, or at least wouldn't fall into ponds.

it's also a blue moon...

If birds can't swim, then there's a whole lot of ducks and geese and swans and gulls and terns and stuff gonna be all surprised, any time now.

thanks for adding to the stupidness (for lack of a better word) i already feel, and have been feeling lately.

the thanks was sarcasm, in case there is a misunderstanding. i didn't mean thanks at all. i did mean the jerk part.

kk

also, of the whole point of the story, why even choose to point that out, neysayer?

one more thing.... i'm sure there are plenty of mispellings, typos, garmatical errors (in fact, i mispelled grammatical, i do believe, and may have mispelled it again. don't bether pointing it out, k?). you needn't bother pointing them out, got it?

that felt really good... i sure hope i can post it!!!!!

signed,

mean kk (yes, kk can be mean but she has claws as she was born in july and lar should choose his words carefully when responding, no? sheesh, i can't believe i'm still going on about this but i'm half crazy and fully pissed. the nerve phillipa, the nerve! :)

<start dramatic music as i spin on my heels and leave the room, hair flipping from the spin of the air off my shoulders.>

and i don't want to tread any more on my friend's thread...

sorry jai. seems i steal your thunder too much. i'll badmouth lar elsewhere, i swear.

hanging my head in shame, not for the badmouthing, but for stealing your thunder. i got a lighter once that said 'real friends don't steal your thunder.'

so sorry. i do have a nasty side every once in a while, you know. but i am very beautiful. i tend to think that makes up for it. i hope you do too darling :)

Hope your sis had a happy birthday, Jai.
I am wary of full moons, it seems they make me full too. Stuff spills over requiring containment. Perhaps today it will be tears of happiness. Now there's a thought.

My lovely sweet kk. I hope I don't make you mad because just lately we have been becoming friends, and I really have a bit of a fear of people being mad at me (if you haven't realized that yet.) But I have to say it sounded to me as if Larry was taking your side, saying that many birds could in fact swim. Maybe there's something more to this I don't know about, but it just seemed as if maybe you heard a tone that he didn't actually intend. Anyway, just my two cents, I don't know if I'm right or wrong, but I thought you might want to consider the possibility.
