Is anyone else kind of freaked out about this? Leggings, shag haircut, black eyeliner... I just don't know if I'm ready!!! Is it my age? Is this a normal mid 30's reaction. Who am I kidding, I'll be 37 my next bday! That's not mid!!!

Footless leggings have been all the rage in the UK for a couple of years now. EEEk! I don't really remember the 80s. I remember neon colours through. I hope they don't return!!

Oh gawd no, I didnt look in leggings the first time, let alone now! My 14 year old thinks this stuff is all new - she doesnt believe that I've been there, worn ( and looked shocking) that.

We still have entire communities of mullet-heads where I live.Nothing can beat my mile-wide shoulders on those Power Suits I used to wear. And having insertable shoulder pads that would migrate inside clothing. I usually ended up as a hunchback.

Oh lordy, I remember those shoulder pads! Sometimes if they migrated forward it was kinda neat, but of course that seldom happened. All those extra minutes spent fixing the shoulder pads, moving the belt back around to the front, adjusting the tight rolled jeans, checking the bangs and swoops....
On another note, glad to see your name here this a.m. I was a teensy bit worried about you given recent weather patterns.
Oh, try going to a Styx/REO Speedwagon concert. That's certainly no mullet-free zone. :)

It wasn't that long ago that I remember a friend and I laughing about how our boss still wore her hair bleach blonde and black eyeliner all the way around her eyes - we called her Miami Vice. I guess this is my punishment for making fun of someone.

I want the 60s back.
Grace Slick dressed as Hitler singing
'Don't ever change, people, your face will hit the fan
Don't ever change people, even if you can
Don't laugh before the Empire falls
You'll laugh so hard you'll crack the walls'or
'Allright friends, you have heard the heavy groups, now you will hear morning maniac music, believe me yeah...it's the new dawn' and then you hear the opening chords of 'Volunteers'.
This is the end of the thread.
