had dinner with a true friend tonite.....

Posted by alesta on January 28, 2007, at 21:40:57

and her teenage daughters and had a great time...her daughters and i made each other laugh so hard while my friend cooked and we had such warmth and fun together.

it is nice to have one good friend who really cares about me. things aren't all bad...just felt like i should report the good stuff, too. although i do have the strange penchant to almost always enjoy my own company over spending it even with friends...i wonder why i'm like that...I don't know anyone else that loves spending so much time alone like i do, and it confounds me. I hate it b/c it hurts other ppl...but anyway...no responses necessary..just wanted to share something positive..i am still a little off moodwise but recovering...my friend calls me a "moody leader"..hehe...:)

be good,:)

~~~ Absolutely!!
~~~ It's not that unusual. I love my solitude. I spent alot of time doing social stuff that I didn't really enjoy doing. I like being at a time I can have choices as to when I care to socialize and who I care to be with.... There's nothing wrong with NOT being as interactive as society would have us believe we SHOULD be...

I'm glad you had a good time!

You mean I'm not the only one who doesn't like the coffee clatch scene? Love Phillipa
