What's a girl to do? Damn! Mario's like, the epitome of all that is hot! But its Emmitt! BTW, is his wife gorgeous or what?

that I like guys who look almost exactly alike? I mean, Mario Lopez and Jay Hernadez could be twins. And of course cuteboy resembles both of them. And its not an ethnic thing either. I just really like dark hair & eyes. Maybe its because its the opposite of my coloring. Sigh...

Actually, he's from Forida, TC. He did play well as a Cowboy, beating my hero Walter Payton's all-time rushing record (with a far superior line, I must add).

Anyway, my take on this is that they should call the show, "Hanging with the Stars," because it's basically a popularity contest not a fair assessment of the best dancing couple. I mean Springer sent better dancers packing, and as good as Emmitt is, Mario was a better dancer by professional ballroom dancing standards IMHO.

I try to read while my wife watches the show, but I always end up watching anyway. Maybe I should take back my view since I rarely watched Emmitt dance. My eyes were always on his partner. : )

Well, he was a Cowboy anyway. Everyone around here has been making a big deal about it. I know nothing about sports. But I know who he is, Troy Aikman, and Mike Modano (hubba, hubba). Oh, and Nolan Ryan. That's about it.

I though Mario was better too, but I just LOVED Emmitt's whole MC Hammer routine! I was a teenager in the 80's so it totally took me back.

I can't remember his partner but I thought his wife was like Beonce beautiful.

Aren't contestants not supposed to be dancers?

Because everything I read on Mario says he was a dancer before he was an actor.

I have never seen the show, but you kicked me in the curiousity. So I went to youtube and found both videos. I must say....wow. I don't know who Emmitt is, but...um...being a vegetarian and all,...I'd still eat raw liver from his navel just for the opportunity to linger! ;-P

ROTFL!!! You totally crack me up! So are you not from the US, or just not interested in sports like me? Emmitt is, or was, a football player for the Cowboys. My knowledge ends there. I only know that because people make a really big deal about the Cowboys around here.

Oh, and I only watched the last episode of Dancing w/the Stars this season. I watched the entire 1st season and really liked it, but I have a tendency to only watch a reality show one season and then I lose all interest. But all the hoopla about Emmitt around here made me want to watch this season finale. Its really a pretty decent show. Where else are you going to see guys ballroom dancing?

Oh, and I was totally freaked out by Joey Lawrance being bald. He was always so hot and had awesome hair. I mean really awesome hair. Some guys do the shaved head thing well, but he just had such a big shiny white head! I don't know, it just freaked me out every time I saw him (on the previews).
