Had enough. Bored out of my mind. Guess I am forced to auction myself off on ebaybble. Bidding opens now at 1 baybble-dollar and closes at midnight CST. Proceeds go to Bored Losers Association.

I'll snipe. What time exactly EDT does the auction end?

I need to know so my bid can go in at 8 sec. before the auction's over.

I'm gonna lowball, though. By the way, is that vintage or vintage-style? cause I only buy real vintage. None of this retro "vintage style" stuff.

Probably someone will outbid me.

that you'll only bid the price up and someone will pay more than they otherwise would have to, if we all wait until the last few seconds?

Studies prove that seasoned bidders on ebaybble wait until the end to place their bids.

Just a helpful hint.

I think you're causing irritation to my hernia, because I'm laughing so hard!

You may be right, you may be a moron -- but if so, you're a sweet, funny, and well liked moron.

And I guess I'll have to raise my bid to 12 and a half baybble dollars...

Um, curtm has never revised his adoption policies.

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/social/20060618/msgs/660111.html

Curt, you sly one! you did that on purpose because you realize that making yourself sound valuable will make you seem much more precious.

Hou could you be more precious? That's so ridiculous! Perhaps you were just auctioning yourself off in the sense of raising money for the orphanage where they keep the rest of the 30-something bipolar men? Or, maybe you were trying to help me save up for my new linoleum tiles?

I'm going to let someone else fill in this one:

Why buy the pig if ______________________?

phillipa, better hurry! I hear he makes a good breakfast, especially the hangover-breakfast!

I hadn't thought of that, PJ. We can put him to work. Maybe we can do anything once we get him. We need a photo.

Definitely will need photo, preferably several, with enlarging feature, to inspect merchandise, now that bidding has topped $100. Is item in full working condition, with no cosmetic damage, and moving with good motion?

Also, may I remind you that ebaybble forbids shill bidding?

I sense a frenzy in the market not entirely explained by your laconic description of the item. While I have not written to the Security and Safe Harbor Dept., I seek assurances that you have not invited friends to bid.

Sincerely, J

Tell me, does the deal include "Son of Me," and "Not Me," too? They're pretty cute. "Me" though! I've gotta raise my bid...

Oh -- got one question, though: how are you with ladders? Will you go up to the top of our 14 foot arched ceiling to change the battery on the smoke alarm? Or do you come with your own house?

(I know, Nikki, if you read this -- you're laughing about me and that dang smoke alarm! It's still scarier to see my husband try to do it than to do it myself...)

Well, on the basis of the photos of NotMe, I may put in a substantial bid later. Although I do wonder about curtm's vocabulary, and who wrote about his auction(possibly it was NotMe). I didn't notice any uggs in the auction, and "ugg" seems to be an essential connector for curtm's sentences.
