Adopt-a-curt Program

Posted by curtm on June 22, 2006, at 10:23:23

36 year old child needs a good loving home.

Bipolar, but not too moody when given constant attention. Will even cook and do housework for extra coddling. Good with computers and hammers. Doesn't like to be told what to do, but is generally easy-going. Drinks a little too much, but not mean, just silly. Good with other children because he acts like one, too.

yes, i'd like one please. although i'm concerned about the 'good with computers and hammers', typically this is not a good combination. but willing to accept it.
no need to worry about being told what to do as i am often disoriented and confused and not sure what to do. and you can act as much like a child as long as i don't have to change diapers or potty train...
welcome home

I know a nice lesbian couple that is interested in adopting. They are very intelligent and would probably make loving mothers.

My husband and I are not currently looking for a Curt, as there is already one Axis-1 mood disordered person in our household.

I'm sure he'd be happy to be your foster parent or Big-Brother-Mentor. He could take you mountain biking and you can teach him how boats work. He needs help with computers too. He doesn't drink beer so he's a good designated driver. How do you feel about cats, specifically fallufally cats?

I've got plenty of room. What color would you like your room painted?

Mood disorders are no problem. Bring your own hammer, we're ususlly using ours.

But you may have to give up the drinking. At least around me, since I quit.

...but I already have a 5 year old, and my husband might get a little cranky if I brought home a Curt.
By the way..acting like a kid is the best medicine on earth. Sometimes, I think my 5 year old is more mature than I am..and I'm 37!
Oh...and the constant attention thing..I'm with ya on that one, too.
Geez Curt..either I'm Bi-polar and undiagnosed...Or, you just sound like the male version of me! Fun, acts like a kid, lovey-dovey, LOVES attention...Hmmmmm.
Nice to meet you Curt..Hugs from Faith~

Hmmmmmmm we could sure use a curt now that you mentioned it. The curt and I could share the housework, cooking, childcare, and doing nothing around here! ; ) Does a curt bring his own car, and have $ for gas and stuff? Pay for his own therapist and pdoc?

Won't curt be missed by his current people? Have they done something to make you want to flee to exile?

Does curt like to play with kids - go to the park, pool, run with the kids and dog? Sounds like you'd be good with our 9 yo computer geeky kind of kid, and our 3 yo likes to bash things kind of kid.....the girls would ignore you, or complain about you.

It's okay you don't like to be told what to do. I'm always telling people what to do, but no one listens anyway.....just let me complain and shake your head like you acknowledge me.....then walk backwards sloooooowly.

How does a curt feel about time away for the mom and dad - while the curt manages the kids? The mom really, really needs a break from the mom thing she's been doing for 16 years!

No one here minds silly......What kind of drinks do you drink? Do you get fallling down silly, loud, obnoxious silly, or just laughing ha ha silly?

I'm winning the lottery on Tuesday, so if I don't adopt a curt, I'll be hiring a nanny........maybe two!
