unintended consequences

Ha! You thought this was going to be a negative post, a downer tone. Fooled you!

An unintended consequence of meeting all these lovely Babblers, and His Bobness Hisself, is that I can see and hear the words now. The posts are animated.

If there was any better reason for attending a Babblefest, I don't know it. All the fun was simply bonus.

I am one of those people whose voice is *totally* different on the phone than in real life. Maybe it *is* the helium.

Not yet. It was supposed to start at the end of this year, but I think Congress just voted to delay implementing the Canadian border ID thing for an extra 17 months. Why the hell 17? Somebody's lucky number?

Boblo? I had never even heard of it. I just googled it, and it closed in 1993. Your memories are all that is left.

I had never heard that name before. What a strange world.

Anyway, if we're doing an APA-coordinated thing, the next convention is in San Diego, May 19-24, 2007. <Waving to an anonymous Babbler>

Literally, LOL!

BTW, official convention butter tarts do not have official calories. It's in the Rules somewhere, but I just can't remember which page.

I was in Toronto again, yesterday, for the first time since Babblefest. Darn Babblers. There are Babble smears all over my Toronto. Fingerprints. Footprints. People prints. All over the place. It's all different now.

And that's beautiful.
