Misery 1990: "I know you've been out"
Silence of the Lambs (1991): "Hello Clearie"
Which of these psychological thrillers do you think is the best.
Kathy Bates (Misery) played a ok roll, but she would turn her face cold and go crazy. At times she would be I would call "lovely psyhotic". When she broke his legs she was very kind, but she said only one thing needs to be done, (she had him tied to the bed, very kind, she broke his legs, "almost done" MY GOD.!
Anthony Hopkins played just a flat out roll of a sort mad, but riddling doctor that was in a insane asylum, "Hello Clerie" is known everywhere. He played a conservitive person but was then would get more intense in trying to make you rethink what think. But he was more trying to help jodie foster, Kathy Bates just wanted James Caan to herself.

silence of the lambs hands down.
but you know it didn't stop there... not by a long shot.
there were two more.
the last one... there is a change in the actress... from someone to jody foster... or maybe it went from jody foster to someone else... at any rate she pulls it off fine. really.
the third one (i think it was) was BRILLIANT!
better than the original.
in the first (silence of the lambs) he is just gross really...
but in the latter one he is a f*cking genius!!! i mean really. the cool calm and collected... hmm hmm hmm i'm going to bite off your tongue and you know... you get the picture. but yeah, he was way cooler.

and he managed to convince one of his patients to... tie himself up to the chandelier and let him whip him... only he got the urge to do something else... and then the guy just about died (maybe he was skinned or something) and becomes his nemesis...

Misery was too freaky for me, Kathy Bates scared the sh*t out of me but Silence of the lambs scared the begeezes out of me. begeezes are harder to scare : )

Yea that is a intense thriller.
Have you seen Misery (1990) i dont think alot of people have.
