OK, maybe I'm not really *obsessed* lol, but I think I think about him more than other people here.
Any theories?
LOL, I hope he finds it funny. Or maybe he's scared. I hope he's not scared.
Maybe he avoids talking to me. What would you do?
I'm harmless to other people. Maybe he thinks I'm a little crazy. Eeek. I'll be good.

I think I just read a post of yours on the psychology board. In it you said that you don't understand all of the feelings that people have about their therapists?!?! I think you absolutely understand. It seems like you are experiencing something very similar.
I think it could be a valuable topic to explore in individual psychotherapy. It may have a lot to say about your feelings on men, older men, fathers, doctors, professionals, caregivers, etc., etc.
Best,
EE

I'm wondering how it could be similar as I know next to nothing about Dr. Bob and he never talks to me or interacts with me.

Perhaps there is something abt Dr. Bob that stirs up a certain emotion or experience in you. For example, some people have a strong reaction to a male pdoc, but have less transference with a female pdoc. Maybe there is something like that for you.
Also, you don't necessarily need to know that much abt someone to have a significant transference reaction to them. In fact, often the less you know about a person IRL, the more you project on to them. You might find a book on this topic interesting. I don't really have any good suggestions, but I bet someone on the books or psychology boards would.
