God protected me but I still spent time in the ER; fractured elbow in sling, bruised up badly but am okay.
I was on the freeway going 65 mph when the guy behind me railed into me and shoved me into the guardrail.
It could've been SOOOO much worse. He is also okay.
We just got our car paid off but the good news is the State trooper (who goes to my church, oddly enough!) declared him the "at fault" driver so everything will be covered.
I just know God was watching out for us- it was Friday traffic, busy freeway, I was driving alone.
I thank Him for that! Anyway, pray I heal quickly, we have lots to do and my left arm is unusuable for a while.

I've crashed my other car many times, little crashes, wasnt paying attention and hit the watergutter and made the window shatter.
I prayed to god that he would protect my new red mustang with Black leather, and me. THe other day i almost skiiddded this Car to the side, but nother happened it sounded like that awful sound something bad happned.
I am glad your son wasnt in the car, or your kids, that would of made them react or have a panic attack, that you got hurt. THank you god.
I pray for protection over them, and safe fortress.
Yes god does have his way of protecting us. I belive.
But just need to pray for a reality check sometimes.

Hopefully, the impact of the collision dislodged the other guy's head from his butt and his driving will improve.

I agree with crazyteresa. And I'm happy you're okay. What a frightening experience for you. I think about it every time I'm on the highway, my biggest fear is an accident, which of course it should be ... these ignorant people who think they're protected in this little tube of manufactured steel and aluminum and plastic. Stupid stupid stupid. No touch with reality.. they should ride bicycles. That would get them in touch.

Spriggy how will you manage? Two sons to take care of? And you're son with the problems will be a handful. Do you have help? I know how thoughtful your husband is and caring. Just glad you're okay. Love Phillipa

Unfortunately I've been in many accidents and have had two cars totalled.
It's always very stressful, and traumatic. Give yourself lots of time, space, and gentle care.
