Do songs pop in your heads all the time?????

Posted by dominique on October 4, 2005, at 21:06:09

I find it funny, others find it weird; but while people are talking or situations arise, I can find a song, hum it, sing it, or be bombarded with it in my head; to fit just about everything.
This occurs constantly.
Anyone else?????????????
Smilin .... just keep on smilin, keep on SSMMILIN through the rain, ..... (I like that song)

I'd like to hear your soundtrack.
My head very often breaks into a few lines from "Singin' in the Rain", the same lines over and over, I don't know the whole song.
I find Nine Inch Nails quite appropriate when I am angry.

The Peter Panda Dance

When you're feeling low
Lower than the floor
and you think that no one's got your back
bum,bum,bum
Just don't make a move
'Till you're in the groove
Doin' the peter panda dance
Just hop three times like a kangaroo
Sidestep twice just like those crabs do
Three steps forward
One step back
Quick like a turtle
Lie on your back
Roll 'till you cant roll no more
Jump real quick like there aint no floor
Hold your breath
Slide to the left and that's the Peter
I swear that's the Peter
That's the Peter Panda Dance...
Good night peter panda

Anyone ever seen the episode of South Park where Cartman can't hear *Sailing* by Styx without singing the entire song?

I get songs stuck in my head all the time. At least I don't sing 'em out loud- then again I talk to myself, so maybe I do.

I sometimes sing to my students. They beg me to stop. So I tell them that if they are not doing what I told them to do, I will sing. It works very well. lol

I'm so glad to hear other people have this problem. I mean, I'm not glad that you have the problem, but that I'm not alone. I believe my case is OCD based. I will suddenly find myself reciting the words of a song, and realize I've been doing it for a long time. Its actually quite bothersome to me.
