Gasping for air while sleeping...

Posted by mellymel_d on September 9, 2005, at 16:02:43

I posted this on the other board too but thought I might get a quicker response here at social...

Has anybody ever experienced this??? I'm on day 4 of wellbutrin 150mgs (in morning) and I take lexapro 10mgs (at night)I have really experienced any side effects from the wellbutrin yet except I have been have a bad time sleeping...I fall asleep fine but find myself waking up a couple of times at night feeling like I'm gasping for air or my heart will stop. Is this a form of anxiety that is a side effect to the wellbutrin, will it stop??? I've never had this kind before while sleeping. I've experienced heart pounding and feeling like I can't get in enough air while I'm awake but not while I'm sleeping. Some advice please, anyone??? I'm now scared to sleep.
