So to see how important I am, I googled my name in the google "advanced search." There were 8 things that popped up partaining to moi'. (yeah.. who knew they ran an online site for those wanted posters in the post office, ROFL).
Anyway, thinking I must be all important and stuff to have that many links (head is growing bigger and bigger) I then google a few other names I know.. I googled Dr. Bob's name and found over 200 links directed to him (head now getting smaller and smaller).
Ever googled your own name (first and last)??
It's interesting.. If you ever figure out my name (snicker), you will find a picture and biography of me.I didn't even know it was there. Freaky.

I have googled my own name and came up with one site, which is where I used to work and is defunct. I ran my therapist's name out of curiousity, came up with nothing. I guess I am now "one of those people" that does things like run their T's name on the computer...yikes!

I googled my own name and found some stuff about me. But there was lots of stuff about other people with the same name.
Strangely enough, there's someone with the same name as me who does a similar job in a nearby place. So if anyone else wanted to google me they'd find out lots of stuff about her. And it's possible that they could confuse some of her stuff with some of my stuff. Fortunately, she seems to be a decent human being!
I googled my therapist's name and saw something really worrying - and then realised it wasn't about him at all, but about someone with the same name. So in future I'll proceed with caution when googling!

I regularly google my own name *L*
At the moment, the top hit is my sponsorship form for my sponsored tube challenge in a few weeks (doing a challenge to visit every single tube station on the London Undergroudn network in one day in aid of the London Bombings Relief Fund)..
Other than that, most hits are to do with my work in Mental Health and Personality Disorders!!!

I did once and only found one reference as a contributor to a paper and another for work with kids soccer. So far I'm managing to live in relative anonymity.
But if I google my eldest daughter I get around 350. And if I google her husband I get more than 800. I haven't tried the other kids.

But all I got was a ton of people who can't spell a relatively famous person's name. At all.
