Actually if you roll it between your fingers long enough, it becomes like eraser droppings.
I know this becuase my 5 year old alerted me to his discovery last week.

Ew.
I use a little square of toilet paper or a tissue (little bit of friction and its easier to get it out). I don't have to touch it... And its easy enough to dispose of.But thats probably more than most people wanted to know.

>kids are a riot!! Are you sure it was your 5 yr old that figured this out?....orrrr.....come on now...admit it.....you've been rolling your boogers haven't you...It's OK...I won't tell a soul. I think there's an online support group for booger rollers and maybe even a 12 step program...'snot that I think booger rolling is necessarily a bad thing...but I guess for some it can become a real sticky problem...hope I'm not being too nosy!! I think I need my meds adjusted!! Have a perfect day!!

I don't "pick" my nose...I clean it with a tissue after I blow my nose.
I think it might be kind of gross if someone didn't "pick" or clean their nose at all...I don't want to swallow boogers!

I have serious allergies and I have to pick out the hardened snot crud at least once per day. Now I try to do this when I am alone, of course. I don't wish to subject strangers or my sweetie of a husband to the sight of a finger digging away in my nose as if on an archaeological expedition. But I'm sure I've been seen at least a few times unexpectedly.
I know it's gross. But it's necessary if I want to keep breathing!

OK, since we're on the gross kick...
I try to mostly use a tissue. BUT...if there is not one available (even though they usually are...I have about 8 boxes of tissue in my house/car) --
I do the "finger fling" to get rid of snots, too. I also have used the "eraser roll" on occasion (it does work! The 5-yr-old is a genius!)

Just remembering when my kids were babies and I'd have to pick it out for them or use that bulb syringe to get it out....
