Feeling quite wobbly today..

Posted by Nikkit2 on July 12, 2005, at 7:07:10

Well, after a fabulous, perfect weekend away, today was the first day I had to face tube / bus travel in Central London..

I'm very very tearful today.. and really wishing I was at home under my duvet.. I want someone to hold me, hug me.. I'm also really panicky and woke up at 5am feeling sick so I'm tired too..

Work is ultra stressful today.. a group of us have raised a grievance complaint against my direct manager.. she has found out and is refusing to come into the office.. things are, to say the least, unpleasant..

I know there is light at the end of the tunnel.. but the vast majority of people I work with, I completely adore, and hate to leave them..

Today just feels like too much to deal with.. so can I have a hug please?

Nikki xx

Youch. I would imagine every citizen of London was on edge the first day back to work. And you especially, being smack in the middle of things on Thursday.

Big hug.

And that's from a Certified Non-Hugger!

We're sisters in arms as far as grievance complaints go. Did you read my posts on 2000 about that? So far, I've gotten two responses: the board that licenses MFTs has written to say that they're reading my complaint -- lol -- and the county has called and written. The county has informed me that they have forwarded my complaint to The Agency From Hell for their opinion about whether or not there's any validity to my complaint... Uh... Maybe a little unclear on the concept?

My heart goes out to you, Nikki. I only wish there was more that I could do to help you through this time. Peace, Nikki. You are my valued friend, from thousands of miles away I send my affection to you.

Hugs from me, too. You know the benefit of hugs? You get hugged back!

Thinking of you today...

(((Nikki))) I'm not suprised you are feeling a bit wobbly. This must be a really hard time for so many people - and crap at work doesn't help either.

Nikki....

I am really, really sorry for your pain. That seems to be a very cruel aspect of depression...that you can go from everything being 'great' (or very good, anyways), to down in the gutter, quite fast. I honestly find the best healer is time...even though we don't have a lot of it. After work, you can run home, have a relaxing bath, then crawl underneath your sheets and blankets...and have a good long 'power' sleep. I really hope you feel better tomorrow. ((((Nikki))))

Sincerely,
Jay

Sorry I'm a little late, this one's for tomorrow I guess. Facing travelling in london must be very unsettling right now, just so sad.

I hope you have some equilibrium back tomorrow.

I'm so sorry. I'm sorry it happened, and that people were hurt, and that everyone has to live with the aftermath. I'm sure the police are doing everything possible to keep the citizens safe! Did you feel OK when on the tube today? How did it go?

I feel terrible for everyone in London. I hope they can catch the people responsible soon.

((Nikki)) -- i hope your fears get better soon, and that work does too!
