What is yours?
I was told that if I thought someone was sexy that meant I wanted to have sex with them. Is this how everyone feels? I just thought it meant that they had a sexual or alluring quality about them. I never really considered actually having sex with them.

I think Ed Harris is sexy. He has beautiful soulful eyes that twinkle when he smiles, a wonderful beautiful smile filled with dimples that light up his face.
I don't care that he is going bald.
I don't care that he is short.
I don't care that he might be gay.
What I don't understand is how me saying that would be insulting to a man I was close to. I don't want to do him. I don't even have wet dreams about him. I just love watching him in movies. Is that so wrong?

Yes, Ed Harris is quite sexy!!! And, I find Sam Sheppard and Jeff Bridges sexy as well. And, don't ask me why, must be pure animal magnetism or something, but I have had a thing for Gene Hackman for some time now. I know, I know, an unlikely candidate for sexy, but there you have it. I SO agree with you! Just because I think a man is sexy doesn't mean I desire to go to bed with them, although........LOL
What I find sexy about men in RL though is someone's manner much more than their looks. Confidence, thoughtfulness, consideration, being interesting, having a life apart from me, a great sense of humor, taking care of themselves. ALL so much more important than looks.
And, just between me and happyflower, wearing the same shirt day after day, esp. if it's rumpled, is SO, SO HOT!!!! LOL

-- Most definitely!!! Those qualities make a guy attractive, even if he isn't good looking in the classic sense. A good looking guy is just someone who's nice to look at if he doesn't have those qualities.

I'm sure Gere, like other hollywood stars, has an ego the size of a house. I got a form letter from him the other day asking for money for Tibetan refugees. On talk shows he's up-front about his Buddhist leanings, hanging out with the Daila Lama etc... but only speaks when he's asked about it, he doesn't push it. I've gotta respect him for that.
