good for what ails you...

Posted by anastasia56 on May 29, 2005, at 23:55:44

went and visited puppies this morning. Nothing better than picking up and snuggling with ten or so puppies. One was a Boston Terrier with one blue eye and one black (?) eye, one was a Fox Terrier, a Westie, a Cocker, a Scottie, etc.

Love that puppy breath and their warmth and unconditional love. Wanted to take them all home. Boo hoo.

Gotta love puppies!!!! I don't know how anyone could be unhappy surrounded by a bunch of cuddly puppies. I wish I had a house with an acre or two of land so I could have a dozen dogs. And, maybe a horse (so I could learn to ride), and some kitties, and a pot-belly pig, and . . . :-)

I'll go for the monkeys, cowlets and, yes, a llama would be cool, but no chickens for me, thanks. I had a bad experience getting locked in a chicken coop on my grandparents' farm when I was a kid. Chickens flying around and freaking me out - yak!!! Have had a bird phobia ever since :-( I'll trade the chickens for a lamb or two :-)

at least you can live vicariously thru your parents dog...provided he doesn't chew thru your leg (the little terror).

occasionally i'll see a samoyed here in arizona and i wonder what people think bringing a dog like that to the desert. they say the fur insulates the dog from the heat but i can't imagine?
