Morbid question ***BIG TRIGGER***

Posted by Shy_Girl on May 17, 2005, at 21:22:44

Gosh darn it, why do I continue to read the ASH newsgroup? It always triggers morbid thoughts in me.

Anyways, I just wanted to confirm my suspicions. If I were to tattoo "DNR" across my chest or something, would I be resuscitated in the hospital? Probably yes, eh? I would need a living will or something right? Also, do "Do not resuscitate" orders hold up in attempted suicide? Like if I attempted suicide and I also had a DNR order, would the DNR be honoured?

You are basically asking for suicide advice. We don't give that here. Please stay away from the site which encourages these thoughts!

And please take care of yourself better than that.

Eeeekkk, why do I always have such morbid thoughts? Anyways, don't worry, I'm not really depressed.

****TRIGGER WARNING FOR BELOW****

****DON'T READ IF DEPRESSED****

Now I'm thinking that a good way to exit would be to take a trip somewhere and do the act there. Maybe I could destroy all my ID, then I'll be a "Jane Doe". I'll simply disappear, no one will know what happened to me.

I wonder...is this a good time for me to take a trip? Gee Wiz, I sure do have a dark side! It may be odd, but I really do not think I understand death yet...even at my age of 23. Maybe I'll learn about it when my hamster dies.

Oops...really really sorry. I didn't realize it was considered suicide advice.

***Sorry everyone***

***Sorry Dr. Bob***

>Please stay away from the site which encourages these thoughts!

It's really hard to. I always get curious and then I look and get triggered. I think I actually *like* being triggered in that way...strange, yes.

> And please take care of yourself better than that.

Don't worry, I will. I'm good. Just sometimes filled with thoughts of death. It's all good.

Are you in therapy? Is your hamster getting old? is it possible all your worry about losing him is driving all your morbid thoughts and suicidality? Never know. At any rate I hope you have a therapist to talk to about this.

I know you are in pain and I am really sorry. I hope you are doing alright. But, I think maybe it would be better to refrain from naming sites that could be potentially harmful for others.
