I hate to say it but discrimination against psychiatric disorders has ruined my life.

I deeply appologize for keeping everybody waiting. I could not get back to my PC to respond. I guess i'm looking for advice what to do in my situatuon. My wife is an alcoholic. She is drunk more than she is sober. She likes to get behind a wheel and drive. Very often with my 2 children in the back seat. I warned her over and over not to do this. She get's combative. I have called the Racine, WI Co. Sherriff numbers of times. They usually just try to blow me off. One time I asked them to come to our house to catch her as she pulls up. They came. About 3 Sherrifs squads witnessed my wife pull up. Aproximately 5 Lawmen. She opened the car door and beer,(cans open and closed) fell out of the car as she fell out too. My children were in the back seat. BTW: I have no criminal record other than speeding. They arrested ME! I had an unpaid traffic ticket that I thought I paid. I sat handcuffed and unnateneded as the swealtering summer heat. My intoxicated wife happened to glance at my eyes and saw that I was in distress. She broke up the socializing and said,, "HEY! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING TO HIM!!"? Or something similar, since I could only read her lips. They let me out. She paid my traffic ticket.
The Sherrifs left our property. My wife wasn't ticketed.
Now let's move forward in time about 4 years (approx)... to yesterday May 16, 2005 My wife is intoxicated again. It is around 3:30pm. This is the approximate time my kids get off of school. She is argumetive and combative. I threaten to call the police if she doesn't stop her combative behavior. She calls our neighbor and tells them to pick up my 2 kids. She gets in her new car and drives off. I don't know if she is going to get the kids or from school or not. She may I thought to myself. I called the Racine, WI CO. Sherrif, I said I wanted to file a complaint against my wife for drinking and driving and endangering my kids. Amazingly they said that they would send out a squad. I waited from 3:30 PM until 8:00PM. Nothing! I finally called my neighbor where my kids were. My nieghbor replied that my wife was taken to jail for DUI. And that I couldn't come over to pick them up. Why, I aked? He said, because my, (drunk) wife instructed him to do so. I said Those are my kids and I wan't my kids NOW! He said No. I said calmly, well, I will have to get a police escort. (As I'm thinking I am the coherent and sober Dad). I called the RACINE CO. WI, Sherriffs and said I needed an escort. "We will send you one"they said.... About a half hour later, two officers came to my door. I told them I needed an escort. They replied..Your kids are safe with their MOM and Grandma.
Today, my wife comes back home. She said she wasn't even taken to jail. She was only fined, and turned over to her mother. Today is the second day in a row that I haven't seen my kids!!!!! Why? Because I'm not allowed to! Oh yes, by the way, The Sherriff also said... Don't go over there or we'll put you in jail. Refering to the Grandmother, whom incidently I had to file charges agianst long ago for striking me accross the face.
I have no money for an attorney as I'm on medical leave for panic attacks, and recovering from detached retina sugery. Please tell politicians, attorneys to read this. Please help I want to get my children to a better evironment to live in. The Grandmother is extremely controlling to the point of being abusive.. beyond comprehension. She is liked by nobody.

im going to send you a babblemail. But the one thing I will say here is, stay calm, it is so hard, I know. But, try to avoid all contact with anyone who isnt on your side when you are upset. It backfires bigtime! The 'authorities' can be so blinded.

I'm not sure what a Babblemail is. But thanks I will sure use it. I did call a couple of Attorneys today. They were useless. Except for one that told me under her breath that I could end up getting shot for pursuing legal action against the Sherriff.
I have another post that I made I think 2 years ago in April 03. It was when I was arrested, jailed and threatened with rape, under false pretense. By the RACINE WI. COUNTY SHERRIFF. I hope Dr.Bob removed the profanity!!

BTW: I have contacted the Wisconsin State Senators office. Quite some time ago. If anyone else would like to I would apreciate it. Just put in... Legislative hotline in google. You can Email or call on the phone.
