Woo Hoo! I'm typings w/2 hands today!

Posted by pegasus on May 16, 2005, at 15:07:06

I just had to write, since it's been so long. I keep wanting and thinking I will do more babbling, and then things come up and I can't. Lately, it's been my baby daughter, who requires at least one of my arms all the time (to hold her). So, working on the computer becomes nearly impossible.

But today I have successfully gotten her to fall asleep in her Snugli carrier, and I am catching up on email and babble. I never thought it would feel so wonderful to be using two hands at the same time! Of course, I still have to sit on my exercise ball, so I can bounce up and down to keep her asleep. But that's nothing!! Kinda fun even.

Just thought I'd share my joy at being able to catch up on babble today. Not to mention do some chores around here after I'm done. I feel like I've done nothing but sit and nurse her for the past 6 weeks. Which is great, but the wonder of it wears off a bit after the first couple of weeks.

Hooray!!!

Snuglis are one of the world's greatest inventions (or reinventions maybe).

So is she the most beautiful baby girl ever?

They always say nursing is great for bonding, but my son never looked above my shoulders for the first seven months of life. I think when I stopped nursing him he eventually looked up and said "Hey, she's got a *face*!!!
