Love you guys.
Big hugs.
I can't believe you were thinking of flying over to check on me, Damos.
If I do move to Australia I'll have to come visit. Even if I don't... Your not all that far away and I LOVE the ashtray at the Sydney airport.

And Jai, lovely Jai. I have to come visit Pete, remember? Maybe I'll manage to get a post-doctoral fellowship in the US and make it over after all.. Or maybe I'll get to study in Canada and I'll make a trip down.

:-)

Hey Precious girl, how 'bout when you're back on feet I drop over and treat you to a caramel macciatto (that's gotta be wrong)or something. We could even play on the swings???????

Just concentrate on looking after you okay. Puppy danced a big dog jig when I told her you were okay. She said to send big kisses and cuddles too.

Get outta here, mustta been a speck of dust or something.

> can I come too?

Absolutely, the more the merrier. We can take turns pushing each other on the swings, and maybe they have a slide or a see-saw or a round-a-bout even.

it's incredible...the unconditional love and support. It's palpable and it is magic. So many people capable of giving so much. All of us in babbleland are very lucky.

But it is best when it is dark (not that I was allowed to go then).

You get all the lights over the lake and the reflections of the lights over the lake. And the trees are just outlines and it is beautiful and quiet and eerie.

But they are little people swings.
I always feel bad swinging during the day 'cause the little kids want a turn and there is a sign saying you aren't supposed to swing if you are over 12 :-(

There are big people swings somewhere else...
And there is a swinging tire
And see saws.

But now I am clearly raving...

Yes. We are all so very lucky.
So very lucky indeed.
You guys are just terrific :-)

Pardon? You weren't raving at all. How you described the lake in the dark was magic.

Wow, sneaking out to hang with the cool kids, wooo hoo.

I'll bring a flashlight and some chocolate in case we get hungry. See ya there - can't wait.

Alex, I'm not normally very visual but you made this beautiful world come to life inside my head and there was a gentle breeze I could actually feel.

This place, these people, it doesn't get much better. Well unless Susan brings a Van Morrison tape and we can do the Moondance too.

Methinks we should have an online Babble party when the peoples are meeting IRL.

Maybe we could have a board set up for that???

A Babble Party Board??

And peoples could post to it just for a few days or something.

So there is a virtual place to meet especially for that too.

What do peoples think - or is it just too much work???

okay, so you got your flashlight for tag and bringing chocolate...

I'll bring the graham crackers and marshmellows for the s'mores... we just need to hunt out the perfect firewood and roasting sticks for the marshmellows...

Oh, yeah, and we can't forget our sleeping bags- there are supposed to be a lot of stars up in the clear skies to sleep under....

Sure, there are lots all around by the lake. Lighters work too. You can toast marshmellows with lighters. Yummy. Really. Mmmm. But we'll need to find some vegetarian marshmellows (gelatine) ;-)

mmm. And baked potatoes. Lets do those in the fire too...

what about s'mores? don't know if my playmates from the uk or nz have had s'mores.

you roast marshmallows and put them between graham crackers and a piece of chocolate which melts from the hot marshmallows. yummy.

??? Nope. I thought I was good discovering Oreo Cookies :-)

> you roast marshmallows and put them between graham crackers and a piece of chocolate which melts from the hot marshmallows. yummy.

Graham Crackers???

Sounds good though.

Have you ever had baked bananas?
You split them and fill them with marshmellow and chocolate and ice-cream then wrap them in tinfoil and bake them. They are pretty good too :-)

Mmm.
We are going to be fat little piglets :-)
